School Advisory Council
The Ansbach
Elementary School Advisory Council (SAC) is a group of
elected parents and teachers who study issues and programs
and make recommendations to school administrators and
community officials about areas of concern. Meetings
are held every fourth Tuesday of every other month and are
open to all members of the community. Parents may
contact SAC members by calling the school office at

Friends of the Library
The Ansbach
Friend of the Library Boosters club supports the Information
Center in its desire to provide a wide variety of reading
experiences for children at Ansbach Elementary School and to
promote reading for pleasure as a life-long pastime.
The Friends of the Library sponsors several book sales
during the school year. Parents may contact

The Parent Teacher Student
Association
The Ansbach PTSA
supports the school by having many fund raising events
throughout the school year. The organization also
sponsors individual and group pictures, the school yearbook,
the sale of tee shirts and other wear. The PTSA board
meetings are held every first Thursday of each month.

School Volunteering
Opportunities
Parents
volunteers are used in many of the classrooms and in the
Information Center. Many of our parents come to read
to and with students daily and help students take
Accelerated Reader tests. Parents who wish to
